Christmas is nearly upon us which makes it time again for the annual City of Gold Coast Mayor’s Christmas Carols! Once again hosted at the Broadwater Parklands in Southport, the prestigious family concert featured, as per usual, an abundance of entertainment.
Singing superstar Christine Anu headlined the night, along with special guests Emma Pask and Prinnie Stevens. The free family event was hosted by Channel Nine’s Shelley Craft this year and featured an entertaining Smurfs Christmas Show for the little ones, a bunch of food trucks, and of course an appearance by Santa himself.
The weather was in our favour this year which made for a fantastic show, finished off at 9am with a profound grand finale of fireworks that lit up the night sky.
Our Role
3vent was, for the 4th consecutive year, contracted by the City of Gold Coast to manage the event operations including:
- Supplying event equipment
- Organising and managing the staging production incl Sound & Lighting
- Providing event staff
- Managing the complete event delivery onsite
